Scientist 1 - Gas Chromatography

Location: Westborough, MA, United States. Onsite laboratory role with a Sunday–Thursday schedule from 5:00 AM to 2:30 PM.

Salary: $20.20 per hour

What you will do

• Perform, support, and oversee analysis of air, water, and soil samples using established chemistry and biochemistry methods.
• Work hands-on in the Gas Chromatography department within an environmental testing laboratory.
• Clean, maintain, and calibrate laboratory instruments and equipment.
• Document procedures, observations, and results accurately to maintain organized laboratory records.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or another STEM-related field, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• College or university chemistry credit hours that include laboratory coursework.
• Ability to work in a laboratory environment, stand for extended periods, work around strong odors, and wear required personal protective equipment.
• Availability to work onsite Sunday through Thursday, 5:00 AM–2:30 PM.
