Analytical Clinical Chemistry Scientist

Salary: $26–$30 per hour; additional information lists an hourly rate of $26.25–$33.50.

What you will do

• Set up, execute, maintain, and troubleshoot HPLC and UPLC instrumentation.
• Prepare protein samples, standards, controls, mobile phases, and cleaning solutions.
• Perform MCE and iCEIF assays and review results against validity, suitability, and specification criteria.
• Process and record test data in electronic databases and document procedures and results.
• Calibrate or verify instruments, maintain laboratory supplies, and report quality anomalies.
• Complete required training and collaborate with customers and functional peer groups.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in chemistry or a related field with 2–4 years of HPLC and GMP experience, or a master’s degree with at least 1 year of HPLC and GMP experience.
• Experience maintaining HPLC and UPLC systems.
• Knowledge of cGMP and experience with MCE and iCEIF assays.
• Strong technical, computer, organizational, communication, and documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively, manage multiple tasks, learn new techniques, and follow procedures.
• Must be authorized to work indefinitely in the United States without restriction or sponsorship.
