Scientist – Pharmaceutical Process Sciences

Location: Rensselaer, New York, USA; on-site laboratory position, first shift Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM.

Salary: $22.50–$25.00 per hour

What you will do

• Conduct routine analytical testing using laboratory instrumentation, including cell culture, pH, conductivity, bioreactors, and autoclaves.
• Prepare reagents, samples, and standards according to analytical procedures.
• Document test parameters, observations, deviations, and results in notebooks and reports.
• Perform calculations, statistically analyze large data sets, and prepare technical reports supporting commercial filings.
• Participate in investigations and perform laboratory maintenance and housekeeping.
• Apply GMP and GLP requirements while meeting quality, productivity, accuracy, and safety standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Chemistry, or a related life sciences field.
• Knowledge of laboratory instrumentation and analytical testing.
• Manual dexterity and the ability to perform laboratory tasks with precision.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, organization, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read analytical procedures and internal SOPs and use computers for calculations and report preparation.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with a team-oriented commitment to safety and quality.
