TL;DR
Senior Quality Technician (Manufacturing): Supporting manufacturing operations through inspections, testing, audits, root cause analysis, corrective actions, and continuous improvement with an accent on precision measurement, process capability, and quality compliance. Focus on analyzing quality data, applying SPC/PFMEA/PPAP tools, resolving nonconforming material issues, and mentoring technicians and cross-functional teams.

Location: Brillion, Wisconsin, United States; onsite manufacturing role. Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.

Salary: Starting at $24 per hour

What you will do

  • Support manufacturing operations in meeting design, customer, regulatory, internal quality, and safety requirements.
  • Perform audits, inspections, testing, and measurements using blueprints, CAD models, specifications, and precision measurement equipment.
  • Troubleshoot floor-level quality issues and identify, contain, document, and disposition nonconforming material.
  • Lead or support root cause investigations, corrective actions, containment, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Analyze and communicate quality data, trends, and process metrics while applying SPC, PFMEA, Control Plans, process audits, and PPAP.
  • Maintain quality records and documentation, support supplier and customer issue resolution, and mentor technicians, operators, and cross-functional teams.

Requirements

  • Quality Manufacturing Certificate or an associate degree in Quality, Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of precision measurement tools, blueprint reading, GD&T, CAD models, and manufacturing quality principles.
  • Experience with SPC, PFMEA, Control Plans, PPAP, root cause analysis, corrective actions, traceability, calibration systems, and nonconforming material processes.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and quality data analysis, with the ability to identify trends and support data-driven decisions.
  • Ability to lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean principles and to train, mentor, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship.
