Quality Technician II

Location: Eagle, Wisconsin, USA; 3rd shift, 11:00 PM–7:00 AM

Salary: $22.75/hour plus an 11% shift premium

What you will do

• Facilitate the parts quality process and inspect parts entering the facility.
• Conduct process and product audits to verify adherence to standard operating procedures and quality standards.
• Support corrective actions for design, supplier, and production quality issues using standardized problem-solving methods.
• Support gage and tool calibration, including Gage Repeatability and Reproducibility studies.
• Collect, report, and analyze quality data while supporting quality management systems and process improvements.
• Train others in quality tools and collaborate with operational leaders on quality metrics and countermeasures.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree or equivalent.
• 3 or more years of experience in quality.
• Moderate problem-solving capability and the ability to lead quality-metric communication and project countermeasures.
• Intermediate knowledge of PPAP, PFMEA, Quality Control Plans, mistake proofing, NMR, ECR, SPC, ISO processes, and CMM programming.
• Ability to communicate issues and countermeasures, perform reading, writing, and math functions, and train others.
• Ability to work onsite in Eagle, Wisconsin, on the 3rd shift from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM.

• Experience with continuous learning and quality improvement methodologies.
