Financial Analyst (Clinical Research)

Location: Remote in Costa Rica

What you will do

• Maintain financial project trackers covering revenue, professional fees, pass-through expenses, milestones, budgets, and overall project performance.
• Create funding agreements, revenue forecasts, billing schedules, and accurate invoices in line with client agreements and project timelines.
• Partner with Project Managers on budgets, change orders, amendments, scope changes, and financial trends.
• Record and recognize project revenue, monitor fees and expenses, and identify financial variances.
• Prepare reconciliations, accruals, financial reports, and ad hoc analyses while supporting collections and billing inquiries.
• Collaborate with finance, project management, and operations teams on process improvements and financial compliance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or a related field.
• Experience in financial reporting, accounting, bookkeeping, project finance, or financial analysis.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including financial modeling, forecasting, reporting, and data analysis.
• Strong knowledge of budgeting, revenue forecasting, invoicing, accruals, and financial reconciliation.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
• Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
