VP Construction

Location: New York City, NY; US-project based role; onsite

Salary: $160,000–$320,000 USD annually

What you will do

• Lead development and construction projects from concept through completion, including design, procurement, delivery, commissioning, and occupation.
• Manage project timelines, budgets, resources, quality, and safety KPIs across major initiatives.
• Coordinate internal stakeholders, consultants, designers, general contractors, and subcontractors.
• Oversee preconstruction and construction phases across a diverse portfolio of global projects.
• Anticipate and mitigate risks, resolve issues, and support strategic project planning and decision-making.
• Represent the Development and Construction team in global coordination efforts and drive improvements in delivery processes and methodologies.

Requirements

• Degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, or a related field.
• Approximately 15 years of experience managing large-scale development and construction projects, ideally in global or highly complex environments.
• Broad experience across design, procurement, and delivery of major projects from a contracting, consultancy, or client organization.
• Track record of delivering projects on time, within budget, and to defined quality and safety standards.
• Strong understanding of design, engineering, procurement, and construction processes.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, collaboration, and staff management skills across multidisciplinary and international teams.
