Senior Project Manager (Mixed Use/High Rise Buildings)

Salary: $180,000–$220,000 per year

What you will do

• Manage the full execution and completion of mixed-use, multifamily, and high-rise construction projects.
• Lead project staff through hiring support, coaching, mentoring, training, feedback, and performance management.
• Oversee project schedules, cost controls, forecasting, billings, change orders, payment activity, cash flow, and productivity reporting.
• Direct preconstruction activities including design coordination, constructability, estimating, scheduling, permitting, procurement, and risk management.
• Manage client relationships, contract negotiations, subcontractor performance, project meetings, turnover, and conflict resolution.
• Develop and implement project safety, quality, and management procedures while supporting business development and pursuit decisions.

Requirements

• Degree in construction-related engineering, construction management, architecture, a construction management certificate, or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of construction management experience, including team leadership and new-construction vertical projects over 15 stories.
• Extensive experience with urban high-rise construction, cast-in-place concrete superstructures, below-grade foundations, deep excavations, and earthwork shoring systems.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, contract negotiation and execution, scheduling, estimating, procurement, cost control, cash flow, insurance, and risk management.
• Experience developing safety and quality procedures and resolving critical-path and scheduling issues.
• Effective written and verbal English communication skills; experience with virtual construction platforms such as CMIC and Bluebeam.

Nice to have

• Established relationships with trade partners, city officials, inspectors, and architecture/engineering firms in Westchester County, NY or Northern New Jersey.
