Senior Manager, Forward Deployed Engineering

Location: Hybrid in the Austin, Texas; New York, New York; or San Francisco, California metro areas. Candidates progressing to the offer stage may need to attend an in-person interview at a hirify.global office or hub.

Estimated annual salary: $244,000–$310,000 OTE for Bay Area hires; $234,000–$295,000 OTE for New York hires. Compensation may vary by work location.

What you will do

• Develop and execute technical sales strategy with regional and country sales leaders to grow Developer Platform pipeline and revenue.
• Manage, mentor, and develop a team of Solution Architects serving as trusted technical advisors and regional leads.
• Partner with executive leadership, Product Management, Product Marketing, Sales, and Engineering on customer value propositions and adoption.
• Manage the annual budget and allocate resources to meet customer and business needs.
• Support executive-level engagement at strategic customer accounts.
• Build feedback loops from customer usage and competitive intelligence into product roadmap improvements.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in technical sales involving cloud computing, storage, or full-stack engineering.
• Experience leading technical teams and developing programs that drive sales strategy and pipeline generation.
• Strong knowledge of modern web technologies, cloud architecture, AI/ML, and distributed serverless platforms.
• Ability to mentor teams in systems design for distributed, full-stack applications.
• Demonstrated cross-functional leadership with Product, Marketing, and Sales.
• Resume/CV detailing team leadership and technical architecture experience.

Nice to have

• Experience building applications or solutions with hirify.global Workers.
• AWS Solutions Architect or GCP Cloud Architect certification.
• Knowledge of CI/CD, versioning, and system integrations.
