Enterprise VDI / Cloud Infrastructure Engineer (Azure/VMware)

Location: Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio, United States; onsite support for NASIC.

Requirements

• 5+ years of IT and infrastructure experience, including 3+ years working with VDI architectures.
• Enterprise administration of VMware ESXi, vSphere/vCenter, and Omnissa Horizon.
• Experience deploying and supporting Horizon desktop pools, Connection Servers, Unified Access Gateways, Horizon Agents, and virtual desktop images.
• Strong Windows Server/Desktop and Active Directory administration, including DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and domain/trust relationships.
• Experience with Azure infrastructure and networking, including VNets, subnets, NSGs, routing, and hybrid connectivity.
• CompTIA Security+ certification and an active Top Secret Security Clearance are required.

Nice to have

• Azure VMware Solution, ExpressRoute, Omnissa Horizon 8, App Volumes, Dynamic Environment Manager, and Blast Extreme.
• Microsoft Entra ID and Microsoft 365 administration, including Conditional Access, MFA, Intune, Teams, OneDrive, and Office deployment.
• VMware NSX, vSAN, enterprise storage, load balancing, firewall technologies, PKI, monitoring, backup/DR, and high-availability architectures.
• Terraform, Ansible/AWX, Git, REST APIs, and infrastructure-as-code experience.
• Experience designing or supporting multi-domain and multi-forest enterprise environments, preferably with 10ZiG or similar thin/zero-client platforms.
