General Manager - Optical (Retail)

What you will do

• Oversee daily store operations, including staffing, inventory, bookkeeping, planning, and policy enforcement.
• Lead, train, coach, and develop associates while building a strong service-focused team.
• Monitor store performance and deliver excellent customer and patient experiences in partnership with the Doctor.
• Manage budgets, supplies, inventory, merchandising, marketing, and promotional initiatives.
• Recruit, hire, retain, schedule, and evaluate associates based on business needs and store traffic.
• Conduct audits, maintain records, provide reporting, and ensure quality, safety, and corporate standards.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of retail experience; supervisory experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of the optical industry is preferred.
• Proven ability to lead, coach, and build strong associate relationships.
• Strong communication, organization, problem-solving, customer service, and sales skills.
• Solid understanding of store operations and business performance.
• Optical license required in applicable states.
