What you will do

• Develop and document high-voltage and low-voltage system architectures, technical specifications, and electrical power budgets.
• Write system requirements, fault-management strategies, and test plans for HV and LV subsystems.
• Collaborate with Powertrain, Battery, Harness, Functional Safety, and Software teams to meet vehicle, thermal, and regulatory targets.
• Define vehicle operational power modes and manage low-voltage power consumption across vehicle states.
• Define safety mechanisms and state-transition logic for AC/DC fast charging and charging interfaces.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or another relevant educational credential.
• 5+ years of automotive or comparable systems engineering experience, with strong experience in BEV architectures and HV/LV systems.
• Broad understanding of energy management, battery management systems, electric drives, vehicle state machines, thermal loops, and charging systems.
• Knowledge of automotive requirements and testing standards, software and vehicle communication protocols, diagnostic tools, and hardware-software integration.
• Hands-on vehicle and system testing experience and ISO 26262 functional safety experience.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with IEC 61508 or MIL-STD-882E.
