Controllers, Compensation Accounting, Associate (Financial Accounting)

Location: Jersey City, NJ, United States; onsite office role

Salary: $85,000–$140,000 per year, plus potential discretionary bonus

What you will do

• Coordinate project implementation activities, resources, equipment, schedules, budgets, and documentation.
• Support global Compensation Accounting projects across payroll, taxes, cash bonuses, time and attendance, equity, and planning and analysis.
• Maintain operational controls and project support documentation in compliance with internal governance and Sarbanes-Oxley requirements.
• Test system enhancements, work with technology support teams, and reconcile data between HCM and Compensation Accounting applications.
• Monitor project progress, risks, expenditures, procurement, and shipping while escalating issues and removing blockers.
• Communicate project status and coordinate internal teams, external vendors, and stakeholders to deliver projects on schedule.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Accounting, or Finance preferred.
• At least 3 years of experience with an ERP implementation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Access, and PowerPoint.
• Strong organizational, analytical, communication, interpersonal, and time-management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, remain flexible, maintain attention to detail, and build positive working relationships.
• Some knowledge of HRMS or finance products such as Oracle Cloud, SAP, or Workday.
