Contract Student Worker - Digital Engineer (Automotive)

Zoox is an autonomous ridehailing company developing fully electric, purpose-built robotaxis designed around riders.

What you will do

• Create flexible framework dashboards that support multiple KPI elements.
• Incorporate new KPIs and continuously improve dashboard usability.
• Interview managers to understand the metrics they need to track.
• Work with the internal data team to identify dashboard platforms, data sources, and coverage gaps.
• Collaborate with IT to distribute standard and custom dashboards to targeted users and public screens.
• Document processes, findings, and future plans.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a relevant B.S. or M.S. program.
• Background in mathematics, engineering, technical disciplines, information design, or UI/UX.
• Available for a minimum three-month assignment and at least 20 hours per week.
• Able to work on-site at a Zoox office location.
• Must comply with Zoox confidentiality requirements and may not share proprietary information outside Zoox.

Nice to have

• Specialization or prior experience in information design, UI/UX, autonomy, or automotive.
