AI Consulting Associate Program (AI CAP) Brokerage Intern - Summer 2027 (AI/Fintech)

Location: Office - Chicago; hybrid schedule with 3–4 days per week in the office. The summer program runs for 10–12 weeks from mid-May through August 2027. Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States and must not require current or future visa sponsorship.

Salary: $35–40 per hour.

What you will do

• Analyze brokerage datasets to identify patterns, trends, and operational insights.
• Prototype AI-enabled tools, prompts, lightweight automations, and dashboards for internal brokerage workflows and reporting.
• Work with brokerage, data, and engineering teams to understand operational processes and identify efficiency opportunities.
• Research AI applications across brokerage, trading infrastructure, and fintech operations.
• Present findings, prototypes, and recommendations to internal stakeholders.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing an undergraduate or MBA degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Economics, Finance, or a similar relevant field.
• Expected graduation date in 2027 or 2028.
• Curiosity about financial markets, brokerage infrastructure, and fintech.
• Familiarity with AI tools, data analysis, or automation, including Python, SQL, Excel, or similar tools.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills.
• Ability to translate technical ideas into clear insights and recommendations.
• Interest in experimenting with emerging AI technologies to solve real business problems.
• Legal authorization to work for any employer in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship.
