Manager, Data Stewardship

Location: Atlanta, Georgia, United States; hybrid schedule with at least four full days each week in an hirify.global office

What you will do

• Lead daily data stewardship activities across assigned master data domains.
• Manage, coach, and develop Data Stewards and other data professionals.
• Define data requirements, quality rules, service levels, remediation workflows, and priorities with business and technology stakeholders.
• Develop data quality metrics, reporting, and dashboards, and oversee profiling, cleansing, mapping, trend analysis, and root cause analysis.
• Maintain critical data elements, definitions, metadata, data dictionaries, and field-level guidance.
• Support master data management implementation, workflow design, integrations, issue resolution, and continuous process improvement.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in data management, data stewardship, master data management, data governance, data quality, business analysis, or a related discipline.
• 2+ years of people leadership experience, including coaching, mentoring, goal setting, and performance management.
• Strong knowledge of master data management, data quality, data governance, metadata, and data lifecycle practices.
• Experience with data management systems, MDM platforms, data quality tools, workflow tools, metadata repositories, or enterprise data platforms.
• Advanced SQL and Excel skills, with the ability to understand data models, integrations, workflows, and data quality rules.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant business, technology, data, science, economics, accounting, engineering, or information discipline.

Nice to have

• Experience with Python, Alteryx, VBA, Power BI, or similar analytical tools.
