Senior Data Governance Analyst (Fintech)

Location: Remote - Nationwide within the United States; applicants must be authorized to work for any U.S. employer

Base salary: $105,700–$149,275 per year

What you will do

• Support enterprise data governance processes, standards, and working groups.
• Maintain and improve metadata and data lineage for governed data.
• Analyze data to identify anomalies and areas requiring stronger governance.
• Support data quality processes, issue resolution, and reporting reliability.
• Clarify ownership and stewardship responsibilities with data owners and stewards.
• Coordinate stakeholders and contribute to the maturation of governance processes.

Requirements

• 4–7 years of experience in data governance, data management, or related work.
• Experience contributing to data governance programs and applying governance processes.
• SQL knowledge and the ability to work directly with data.
• Experience with metadata, lineage, data quality, and governance processes.
• Working knowledge of CCPA, ERISA, FINRA, and SEC requirements.
• Ability to investigate governance and ownership issues and work with business partners, data owners, and stewards.

Nice to have

• Python experience.
• Financial services or banking experience.
