Dispatcher (Vehicle Logistics)

hirify.global operates an online vehicle auction platform connecting vehicle sellers with buyers worldwide through a large network of facilities.

What you will do

• Dispatch sub-haulers for vehicle pick-up and delivery within company timelines.
• Make outbound calls to pick-up locations and vehicle sellers, answer incoming calls, and solicit business.
• Verify that sub-haulers meet company requirements before dispatching.
• Use cost-effective vendors and manage vendor relationships.
• Collect payments on member deliveries, print checks, and produce reports as needed.
• Maintain and archive documents, monitor incoming faxed documents, and enforce safety regulations.

Requirements

• Two years of dispatch experience and one year of customer service experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, customer service, organizational, and time-management skills.
• Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office, basic ten-key and math skills, and the ability to operate office equipment.
• Typing speed of 45 words per minute and the ability to multitask with strong attention to detail.
• Knowledge of the local geographical area, ability to read maps, and ability to work with minimal supervision.
• High school diploma or GED preferred; occasional overtime may be required.
