Shipping Coordinator (Logistics)

What you will do

• Coordinate and schedule shipments to ensure accurate and timely customer deliveries.
• Prepare bills of lading, packing slips, shipping labels, and other documentation.
• Track shipments and provide customers with delivery updates.
• Coordinate pickups with carriers and vendors, resolve delivery issues, and negotiate rates.
• Maintain shipment, inventory, and shipping-cost records while organizing supplies and equipment.
• Analyze shipping data to support process improvements and cost savings.

Requirements

• 1–2 years of experience in shipping coordination, logistics, or a related operational role.
• Strong organizational, time-management, problem-solving, and customer-service skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and shipping documentation.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Experience with shipping management systems and carrier software platforms.
• Knowledge of shipping regulations, compliance requirements, and carrier guidelines.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with inventory tracking systems and warehouse management software.
• Experience with international shipping procedures.
