Field Linehaul Support Rep (Logistics)

Salary: $20.35–$31.73 per hour

What you will do

• Dispatch transportation equipment according to linehaul plans and schedules.
• Coordinate cargo shipments to maximize trailer capacity while meeting delivery obligations.
• Enter dispatch events in the transportation management system and verify equipment locations through yard inventories.
• Complete yard checks and report missing equipment or trailer load and unload issues.
• Investigate delays, accidents, and equipment failures and implement contingency plans for on-time delivery.
• Prepare operational reports and support management with audits and compliance reviews.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required; a bachelor's degree is preferred.
• Dispatch experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of linehaul operations, transportation procedures, and DOT regulations.
• Time management, organization, multitasking, communication, and attention to detail.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and web-based applications.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment and follow safety procedures.
