What you will do

• Schedule and coordinate engineered and non-engineered distribution line and service work.
• Combine personnel and equipment resources to support timely and efficient job completion through work management systems.
• Characterize customer work requests, including electrical loads, energy requirements, distribution construction, and required job prerequisites.
• Provide customers with guidance on service design, city ordinances, electrical codes, and company installation policies.
• Coordinate with customers, supervisors, engineers, builders, inspectors, foresters, and metering teams to meet prerequisites and deadlines.
• Adjust schedules for workload, inclement weather, and other conflicts, and assist with planned customer service outages.

Requirements

• Associate degree in engineering technology, or a high school diploma with the required experience.
• Progression through the work scheduling assistant job family or at least two years of experience in distribution operations.
• Working knowledge of distribution work processes and procedures.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize work effectively.
• Proficiency with computer systems in a Windows environment and the ability to learn complex systems.
• Physical demand level: sedentary work.

Nice to have

• Working knowledge of DWMS, SPECTRUM, and MACSS/OPS.
