Operations Manager (Automotive)

Location: West Memphis, Tennessee, United States; onsite work in yard and facility environments is required.

What you will do

• Lead, hire, train, develop, and support staff while managing performance and employee relations.
• Oversee daily yard and facility operations, ensuring compliance with company processes and service standards.
• Manage scheduling, attendance, payroll processes, team meetings, and performance reviews.
• Oversee cash handling, bank deposits, inventory, supplies, vendor contracts, and compliance documentation.
• Coordinate equipment and facility maintenance, safety protocols, customer concerns, and staff issues.
• Travel occasionally to other locations, respond to facility alarms when needed, and work in office and outdoor environments across varied weather conditions.

Requirements

• At least three years of experience in operations management or a related field preferred.
• High school diploma or GED required; some college education preferred.
• Fluency in English and strong verbal and written communication skills required.
• Experience recruiting, training, motivating, and managing staff, including conflict resolution.
• Microsoft Office proficiency, basic accounting and inventory management skills, and typing speed of at least 45 words per minute.
• Valid transportation and the ability to work onsite in yard and facility environments.
