What you will do

  • Oversee daily Parts Department operations, including ordering, inventory control, shipping, receiving, distribution, and retail and wholesale sales.
  • Forecast parts demand, maintain appropriate inventory levels, control costs, and analyze sales and profitability metrics.
  • Develop vendor relationships, monitor supplier performance, manage purchasing opportunities, and support budgets and expense control.
  • Lead, train, coach, and mentor Parts Department employees while setting expectations and maintaining accountability.
  • Collaborate with Service Advisors, Technicians, Sales, dealership leadership, vendors, and customers to improve parts flow and reduce repair delays.
  • Implement processes that improve efficiency, customer satisfaction, and departmental profitability.

Requirements

  • Previous Automotive Parts Supervisor or Parts Department leadership experience required.
  • Strong knowledge of automotive parts operations, inventory control, forecasting, purchasing, vendor management, and profitability metrics.
  • Ability to lead teams, control costs, manage workflows, and communicate effectively with dealership leadership.
  • Strong organizational, time-management, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship and must be a current U.S. resident.
  • Must pass pre-employment testing, including a background check, MVR, and drug screening.

Nice to have

  • CDK experience.
  • Automotive dealership Parts Department experience.
  • Experience managing OEM and aftermarket parts, as well as retail and wholesale operations.
  • Experience developing and implementing inventory management processes.
