Commodity Manager (Medical Devices)

Location: On-site in Cincinnati, Ohio, United States; travel up to 10–20%, including occasional overnight domestic travel and international travel as needed.

Salary: $90,000–$105,000 annual salary, plus eligibility for bonus or incentive pay.

What you will do

• Manage assigned commodity categories, including supplier performance, cost, and risk.
• Develop and execute sourcing and supplier strategies aligned with operational and business objectives.
• Identify and deliver cost-saving initiatives while monitoring market trends and cost drivers.
• Lead and support supplier negotiations and commercial agreements.
• Provide procurement expertise to cross-functional partners and less-experienced colleagues.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 4 years of experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, supply chain, or related operations.
• Experience managing suppliers and supporting sourcing or cost-reduction initiatives.
• Experience leading or supporting supplier negotiations and commercial agreements.
• Proficiency with data, KPIs, Excel, and ERP systems.
• Ability to work on-site in Cincinnati, Ohio, United States.

Nice to have

• Experience sourcing medical device components or assemblies.
• Experience applying Lean principles or structured problem-solving tools in a manufacturing environment.
