Procurement Associate

Location: Parsippany, New Jersey, United States; hybrid with 3 days per week in the office

Salary: $75,000–$78,500 per year for New Jersey

What you will do

• Build and maintain relationships with supplier partners through email, virtual meetings, and phone calls.
• Evaluate and submit purchase orders while maintaining appropriate inventory levels and ensuring on-time delivery.
• Address raw-material quality concerns raised by culinary and operations teams with suppliers.
• Communicate forecasting changes to supplier partners and coordinate the launch of new raw materials.
• Work cross-functionally with the merchant, forecasting, warehouse operations, and accounts payable teams.
• Evaluate reporting to minimize waste at production and distribution facilities.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in a supply chain position, preferably in foodservice or retail.
• Excellent project management and leadership skills.
• Strong attention to detail, sense of urgency, and ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to learn quickly, find information independently, and apply new concepts.
• Collaborative, self-starting approach and openness to other viewpoints and ideas.
• Ability to work from the Parsippany office 3 days per week.
