Manufacturing Internship (Manufacturing)

Location: Plainfield, Indiana, United States; onsite at the manufacturing plant

What you will do

• Rotate through multiple areas of the manufacturing plant to understand the overall manufacturing process.
• Support plant team members and gain hands-on experience with production methods, machines, and processes.
• Assist with research on new and existing projects and support decision-making.
• Develop proposed solutions to operational problems using a continuous improvement mindset.
• Attend department meetings, collaborate across organizational levels, and act on feedback.
• Create and present an internship project and outcomes presentation to department leadership.

Requirements

• Current junior or rising senior pursuing a bachelor's degree.
• No prior experience is required; education may be combined with work experience.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, communicate clearly, collaborate across departments, and respond to changing circumstances.
• Commitment to workplace safety and continuous improvement.
• No foreign language is required.
