Engineering Intern (MedTech)

Location: West Carrollton, Ohio, United States; on-site manufacturing site

What you will do

• Review, map, and translate CNC machining and finishing processes into the manufacturing execution system.
• Support testing for manufacturing execution system software implementation.
• Develop and maintain production work instructions and assist with quality assurance activities.
• Support equipment installation, process qualifications, documentation, and facilities modifications.
• Identify process improvement opportunities and drive cycle-time improvements using value stream mapping and lean principles.
• Collaborate with Operations, Quality, IT, Supply Chain, Finance, suppliers, and other cross-functional teams on manufacturing initiatives.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Engineering with at least two completed years of undergraduate study or 60 credit hours.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0; college transcripts and a faculty recommendation letter required.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States.
• Ability to meet the physical requirements, including sitting, climbing or balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, and lifting up to 25 pounds occasionally.
• Candidates are responsible for their own housing and transportation during the internship.
