Technical Internship (Manufacturing)

Location: Denton, Texas, United States; onsite factory environment

What you will do

• Support Field Services with shipping, receiving, organization, and maintenance of calibration kits.
• Extract and manage database data to create equipment lists and assist with calibration procedures and forms.
• Participate in factory continuous improvement activities, Kaizen and WCM meetings, and visual management projects.
• Support Reward and Recognition initiatives.
• Analyze manufacturing processes and operational data to improve efficiency, product quality, workflow, and productivity.
• Collaborate with production, quality, and continuous improvement teams to reduce waste and rework.

Requirements

• Current bachelor’s student in the final two years of college or university.
• Relevant majors include Engineering, Metrology, Food Science, Process Engineering, Industrial Engineering, and Quality Engineering.
• Foundational calibration knowledge or hands-on calibration experience is relevant for the Calibration Intern opportunity.
• Availability to work full-time during the summer; after mid-August, work is part-time for a maximum of 20 hours per week.
• Work takes place in a production facility and requires frequent walking, safety shoes, a company uniform, and protective equipment.
• Work visa sponsorship, relocation, and housing are not provided.

Nice to have

• Microsoft Power Platform experience, including Power BI and Power Apps.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and other Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong attention to detail, time management, planning, independence, initiative, curiosity, and willingness to learn.
