Production Supervisor (Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Manage production operations across multiple departments and shifts.
• Lead, motivate, coach, and evaluate employees while maintaining accountability and supporting development.
• Manage department costs, profitability, inventory, reporting, and records.
• Lead continuous improvement and safety initiatives, including participation in the Safety Committee.
• Resolve production and quality issues and coordinate with maintenance staff on machinery, equipment, and preventive maintenance.
• Follow hazardous-material handling procedures when assigned to the Treating Department and operate a forklift when needed.

Requirements

• Post-high-school education.
• 3–5 years of manufacturing experience and 1–3 years of experience managing people.
• Strong communication, organization, planning, reporting, and employee feedback skills.
• Knowledge of the Precise Plant Quality Program, quality requirements, troubleshooting, and accuracy controls.
• Knowledge of continuous improvement principles, including 5S and TPM, plus standard work instructions and preventive maintenance.
• Training in machine audits, LOTO, safety improvements, machinery operations, and employee safety procedures; successful completion of the forklift driver licensing process.
