Operations Supervisor (Manufacturing)

Location: Jacksonville, Florida, United States; 100% in-office presence required. Second shift: 3:00pm–11:30pm EST.

What you will do

• Lead daily production execution in an assigned work center, meeting safety, quality, delivery, efficiency, schedule, and takt-time targets.
• Supervise, coach, evaluate, onboard, and develop Team Leads and Operators.
• Monitor output, defects, rework, attendance, downtime, and other KPIs; lead Tier 1 daily management meetings.
• Coordinate with Planning, Materials, Quality, and Maintenance to ensure materials, tools, documents, and work-center readiness.
• Enforce safety protocols, 5S, standard work, visual management, and operational policies.
• Lead or support root cause analysis and corrective actions for quality, delivery, and safety issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related field; two additional years of relevant experience with demonstrated leadership may substitute for the degree.
• 3–7 years of manufacturing or production experience, including at least one year in a formal or informal leadership role.
• Experience with takt time, standard work, visual management, and daily tier meetings.
• Basic proficiency with ERP systems, Excel, and production dashboards.
• Strong people leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Nice to have

• Coaching and performance management experience.
• Root cause analysis methods such as 5 Whys and fishbone analysis.
• Conflict resolution and feedback skills.
• Knowledge of Lean, 5S, and visual factory principles.
• Spanish or Portuguese language skills.
