AI Portfolio, Governance & Value Realization Lead

Location: Baltimore, Maryland, United States; hybrid work with up to one day per week from home

Base salary: $122,000–$209,000 annually for Maryland. Employees may also be eligible for a discretionary bonus.

What you will do

• Operate the Global Distribution AI intake process and maintain a transparent view of the opportunity backlog and active portfolio.
• Structure AI opportunities, coordinate triage, and route them to appropriate delivery or enablement paths.
• Develop evidence-based prioritization and resource-allocation recommendations and facilitate recurring portfolio reviews.
• Prepare governance materials, executive reporting, portfolio updates, and visibility into blockers, dependencies, decisions, and outcomes.
• Establish standards for business outcomes, baselines, KPIs, adoption, and value realization, including post-launch reviews.
• Improve portfolio governance and collaborate with AI product, implementation, business, Technology, Data, Risk, and Finance stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in business, finance, strategy, analytics, information systems, or a related field, plus 8+ years of related experience.
• Experience in strategy, transformation, management consulting, product operations, portfolio management, business analysis, or related work.
• Ability to structure ambiguous business problems and translate them into clear decisions and actions.
• Strong analytical skills with experience in business cases, KPIs, performance reporting, or value-realization frameworks.
• Excellent written communication, executive-material development, and stakeholder-management skills in complex matrixed organizations.
• Working knowledge of generative AI and AI-enabled business transformation.

Nice to have

• Experience in financial services or asset management.
• Experience supporting executive governance or senior portfolio decision-making.
• Familiarity with AI product delivery and responsible AI practices.
• Experience measuring productivity, capacity creation, cost savings, adoption, or other transformation outcomes.
