Commercial Construction Assistant Superintendent (Mission Critical)

Location: Falls Church, VA

Salary: $79,200–$132,000 per year, plus performance-based bonuses and benefits.

What you will do

• Support project scheduling and ensure the correct methods and sequence of installation are followed.
• Communicate project priorities to field staff and subcontractors while maintaining productive working relationships.
• Maintain daily logs, work orders, tickets, site-condition reports, and accurate project documentation.
• Maintain quality and safety standards, administer the safety program, and support inspections and incident investigations.
• Organize the site team, arrange temporary facilities and utilities, and expedite long-lead items.
• Manage punch-list and closeout activities through owner and architect acceptance.

Requirements

• High school diploma required; a four-year degree in construction, engineering, or business is strongly preferred.
• 2–5 years of commercial construction experience, including work with a commercial general contractor.
• Ability to use project-specific software, including Microsoft Office, Procore, Adobe, and Bluebeam.
• Ability to walk or stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Strong communication, organization, prioritization, collaboration, problem-solving, and relationship-building skills.
• OSHA 30 certification is preferred.

Nice to have

• Experience with tenant renovations, service work, occupied spaces, weekend work, or fast-paced projects.
• Project lead experience.
