Project Architect

Location: San Francisco office, United States

Salary: $105,000–$155,000 per year, depending on experience

What you will do

• Implement project design philosophies through design and construction phases.
• Develop design and technical drawings, visualizations, studies, and architectural materials.
• Coordinate internal project teams, external consultants, contractors, clients, and authorities having jurisdiction.
• Lead team meetings and client presentations while managing schedules, tasks, and project deadlines.
• Oversee construction-phase activities, including shop drawing reviews, RFI responses, site visits, and BIM coordination meetings.
• Mentor junior staff and promote innovative building systems and process improvements.

Requirements

• Accredited professional degree in architecture.
• 10+ years of post-graduate, full-time experience in an architectural firm.
• Licensed Architect in the U.S.
• Strong design sensibility, attention to detail, communication, and presentation skills.
• Knowledge of zoning ordinances, building codes, building systems, material assemblies, and engineering concepts.
• Proficiency in Revit, Bluebeam, Newforma, and Excel.

Nice to have

• Experience with multifamily residential, hospitality, higher education, or aviation projects.
• Familiarity with Enscape, SketchUp, Rhino, Affinity, and Adobe Creative Suite.
