Field Assistant Superintendent (Construction)

What you will do

• Sequence work with subcontractors and vendors to support safe and successful project execution.
• Supervise or direct assigned laborers, craft workers, and project scopes.
• Interpret construction documents, plans, and specifications.
• Coordinate with Project Engineers on RFIs, shop drawings, submittals, record drawings, workflow, and field engineering.
• Monitor work quality, enforce OSHA and company safety policies, and support schedule adherence.
• Maintain daily reports, assist with project layout, and apply Lean Construction practices.

Requirements

• 0–3 years of relevant construction experience.
• Relevant college degree, or experience as a Field Foreman or Field Engineer with safety awareness, supervisory experience, and daily-report experience.
• Fundamental understanding of project documents and building construction.
• Ability to identify and solve problems, communicate effectively, collaborate, and manage time.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather, move equipment weighing up to 50 pounds, navigate uneven job-site surfaces, climb ladders and stairs, and maintain consistent attendance.
• Basic Bluebeam knowledge; experience with Excel, Procore, Egnyte, CMiC, and Revit or comparable construction technologies is beneficial.
