What you will do
- Mentor less experienced staff in setting up and manually operating CNC equipment.
- Support the production of complex parts to specification.
- Create design-for-manufacturing documentation, procedures, and quality guidance.
- Develop, implement, simplify, and teach manufacturing processes.
- Apply SEL values, operating principles, and World Class Manufacturing principles.
Requirements
- Trade school degree and 6 years of experience, or 8 years of shop experience.
- Highly skilled in applicable software with strong mathematics and part-measurement abilities.
- Strong writing, documentation, speaking, leadership, and mentoring skills.
- Ability to lead and organize group projects and maintain a service-oriented approach.
- Satisfactory background check and negative drug test results.
- Ability to lift and maneuver 40 pounds, reach, bend, grip, twist, and sit or stand for at least 8 hours.

- Basic shop experience.
