Commercial Construction Superintendent (GovCloud)

Location: Culpeper, Virginia, United States; onsite

Salary: $99,000–$150,700 per year, plus performance-based bonuses and benefits.

What you will do

• Direct onsite workflow and communicate project priorities to site staff and subcontractors.
• Administer safety requirements, lead jobsite safety, and support incident investigations and external inspections.
• Maintain project quality standards, daily activity and site-condition logs, punch lists, and closeout documentation.
• Coordinate schedules, installation sequencing, commitments, site resources, temporary facilities, utilities, and long-lead items.
• Manage subcontractor relationships, work orders, tickets, scope alignment, and early resolution of project issues.
• Collaborate with the project manager and site operations team throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements

• 5+ years of commercial construction experience, including experience with a commercial general contractor.
• Strong knowledge of building processes and construction best practices.
• Experience organizing people, tools, and time to meet tight deadlines.
• Proficiency with project-specific software, including Microsoft Office, Procore, Adobe, and Bluebeam.
• Ability to walk or stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
• A four-year degree in construction, engineering, or business is strongly preferred; additional experience may substitute for a degree.

Nice to have

• Previous superintendent or project lead experience.
• Tenant renovations, service work, occupied-space projects, weekend work, or fast-paced project experience.
• OSHA 30 certification.
