Commercial Pest Control Technician

What you will do

• Inspect commercial properties to identify pest infestations, damage, and entry points.
• Apply approved chemicals, baits, traps, and other pest control products in accordance with safety standards.
• Educate customers on prevention methods and recommend ways to reduce future infestations.
• Build customer relationships, schedule appointments, support sales to existing customers, and develop new business.
• Maintain, stock, and safely operate pest control equipment and a company-provided service vehicle.
• Follow federal, state, and local regulations for pest control products and safety procedures.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED, related experience or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Valid driver's license from the state of residence.
• Availability to work Monday through Friday and Saturdays as needed.
• Solid reading, writing, verbal communication, and basic mathematics skills.
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors, in confined spaces, around animals, insects, chemicals, mechanical equipment, heights, and electrical current.
• Ability to wear required personal protective equipment, including an OSHA-compliant respirator; a clean-shaven face is required for respirator safety.
