Environmental Compliance Technician I (TSDF)

Location: Robstown, Texas, USA; onsite field role

What you will do

• Monitor leachate levels and pump functionality, collect samples, and compile compliance data.
• Conduct facility inspections, maintain logs, track deficiencies, and support compliance meetings.
• Support the Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan, groundwater and well requirements, sampling, maintenance, and readings.
• Coordinate testing, supplies, and reporting with external vendors and laboratories.
• Assist with monthly and annual compliance reports, audits, risk assessments, and corrective actions.
• Maintain environmental records and permitted bulk-waste holding pads, including repairing or replacing damaged container components.

Requirements

• 0–2 years of relevant work experience.
• Knowledge of environmental regulations, testing procedures, hazardous-waste treatment, storage, and disposal facilities.
• Understanding of EPA, OSHA, WISHA, ISO, health and safety, industrial hygiene, and field-service practices.
• Ability to research, analyze environmental data, conduct studies, and present concise recommendations.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, with strong attention to detail.
• A valid driver’s license may be required for some positions.
