Director Strategic Sourcing (Airline Procurement)

Location: Cottonwood Heights, Utah, United States; onsite at the corporate headquarters

What you will do

• Implement procurement processes and tailor programs in collaboration with subject matter experts.
• Create and manage requests for information, quotes, and proposals.
• Develop contract management, storage, and retention standards.
• Negotiate contracts for software, hardware, fuel, ground service equipment, airport services, uniforms, components, materials, and other operational and corporate needs.
• Manage vendor performance, document issues, and coordinate follow-up with suppliers and internal teams.
• Build stakeholder and supplier relationships, improve agreements, communicate changes, and track procurement performance.

Requirements

• Four-year degree in Finance or a related field.
• 10+ years of procurement experience, including progressive leadership responsibilities.
• Experience reviewing and analyzing contracts.
• Knowledge of procurement best practices, total cost of ownership, planning, and analysis.
• Strong negotiation, communication, leadership, organization, and time-management skills.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States under the Immigration Reform and Control Act of 1986.
