Strategic Sourcing Manager (Manufacturing)

Location: Houston, TX (TAS - Airport F), United States; primarily desk-based work at an indoor company facility.

What you will do

• Develop and implement sourcing and category management strategies.
• Analyze procurement costs, conduct benchmarking and scenario analysis, and identify cost-reduction opportunities.
• Negotiate supplier contracts and manage contract feasibility, compliance, quality, and delivery standards.
• Build long-term supplier relationships and research new sourcing opportunities.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align procurement with business needs.
• Lead and develop the procurement team, including direct and dotted-line responsibilities.

Requirements

• 5–7 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain management.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering or Supply Chain Management.
• Proven experience with contract negotiation and supplier management.
• Familiarity with sourcing software and ERP systems.
• Strong analytical, financial, project management, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to interpret market trends and make data-driven decisions.

Nice to have

• CPSM, CSCP, or CPM certification.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams and strategic initiatives.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment.
