Commercial Construction Senior Superintendent (GovCloud)

Location: Culpeper, Virginia, United States; on-site commercial construction role

Salary: $132,000–$181,500 per year, with compensation varying by city, state, experience, qualifications, education, skills, and training.

What you will do

• Direct on-site project workflow in line with schedules, safety requirements, and quality standards.
• Lead site safety activities, administer the safety program, and coordinate incident reporting and investigations.
• Maintain daily activity and site-condition logs, manage punch lists, and drive closeout through owner and architect acceptance.
• Develop project schedules with the project manager and ensure proper installation methods, sequencing, and schedule commitments.
• Coordinate subcontractors, work orders, tickets, temporary facilities, utilities, and long-lead items.
• Lead and organize the site team while collaborating with project management and site operations.

Requirements

• 8–10 years of commercial construction experience, including experience with a commercial general contractor.
• Four-year degree in construction, engineering, or business preferred; additional experience may substitute for a degree.
• Strong knowledge of building processes and construction best practices.
• Ability to organize people, tools, and time, manage priorities, and meet tight deadlines.
• Experience as a superintendent or project lead preferred; OSHA 30 certification preferred.
• Ability to walk or stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds.

Nice to have

• Experience with tenant renovations, service work, occupied spaces, weekend work, or fast-paced projects.
• Experience with Microsoft Office, Procore, Adobe, and Bluebeam.
