Location: Field-based role supporting the Long Island, NY territory; candidates must reside in the geography or be willing to relocate to it.

Salary: $99,000–$185,500 annually, plus commission.

What you will do

  • Sell current and potential new oncology therapeutics in the assigned territory.
  • Explain clinical efficacy, product value propositions, and approved clinical information to customers.
  • Analyze business opportunities, prospect within assigned accounts, and develop account strategies with the District Manager.
  • Create customer-specific pre-call and post-call plans using approved materials and marketing resources.
  • Develop hospital and large-account relationships, address reimbursement options, negotiate sales, and close orders.
  • Travel throughout the territory as needed, including occasional overnight and weekend travel.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel as necessary.
  • At least two years of successful pharmaceutical, biologic, biotech, or medical device sales experience, or recent transition from active-duty military service.
  • Experience with hospital and large-account sales, sophisticated reimbursement issues, Medicare Part D, and demonstrated sales performance.
  • Willingness to meet credentialing requirements, including TB testing and required vaccinations, and to complete annual background checks.
  • Must reside in the Long Island, NY geography or be willing to relocate to it.
