What you will do

• Provide prenatal, labor, delivery, and postpartum care in a hospital setting.
• Monitor fetal heart rate, assess labor progress, support pain management, and manage potential complications with physicians.
• Perform vaginal deliveries and act as first assist during cesarean sections.
• Provide telephone triage for obstetric and gynecologic patients.
• Educate patients about breastfeeding, newborn care, and postpartum recovery.
• Maintain detailed EPIC records and participate in education for students and residents.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Nurse-Midwifery from an accredited program.
• Certified Nurse Midwife certification from the American Midwifery Certification Corporation.
• At least 2 years of hospital-based labor and delivery experience.
• Strong clinical assessment, diagnosis, and intervention skills.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to patient-centered care and respect for women's choices and autonomy.
