Maintenance Technician (Manufacturing)

Location: Longmont, Colorado, USA

Salary: around $29/hour, plus a target 10% profit-sharing bonus and 401(k) match up to 8%.

What you will do

• Perform weekly preventive maintenance on vacuum deposition systems according to established schedules.
• Replace coating components and critical parts, disassemble reactor chambers, and manage external rework and refurbishment.
• Inspect equipment before and after maintenance and maintain accurate logs, schedules, and spare-parts records.
• Coordinate preventive maintenance schedules with engineering and materials supervision and support facilities activities as needed.
• Respond to tool-related emergencies and collaborate with process engineering, operations, and EHS teams to minimize downtime.
• Improve preventive maintenance procedures and overall system reliability while following vacuum technology, cleanroom, and hazardous-material safety practices.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience as a maintenance technician, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to use mechanical tools and electronic test equipment.
• Experience handling hazardous materials, including pyrophoric materials, and following required safety protocols.
• Strong organization, record-keeping, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Comfort using PCs and proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to lift instruments weighing up to 50 lbs weekly and perform work requiring manual dexterity.
