Ocean Import Agent (Logistics)

What you will do

• Send pre-dispatches to FCL truckers within 48 hours of close of business and complete container FTX entries.
• Review and update delivery notes according to standard operating procedures.
• Respond to or delegate customer service emails on the same day.
• Process ocean import shipments accurately and on time while following customer procedures and operational KPIs.
• Enter and maintain shipment data, monitor exception reports, and resolve data integrity issues.
• Prepare accurate customer invoices and provision service provider charges according to company and customer requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• At least 6 months of ocean import experience.
• Fluent English required.
• Good interpersonal, communication, organizational, and customer service skills.
• Good working knowledge of Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Typing speed of at least 45 words per minute and strong attention to detail.
