Systems Programmer Analyst I - Java (Fintech)

Salary: $80,000–$100,000 base salary per year, plus annual target bonus

What you will do

• Develop and manage Java and Java EE source code for enterprise systems.
• Build automated tests and support continuous integration and continuous deployment environments.
• Develop REST web services and work with Spring, Hibernate, Kafka, Docker, and OpenShift.
• Design and support large-scale enterprise implementations and application container deployments.
• Analyze legacy and emerging systems and software designs.
• Contribute to proposals, projects, architecture tools, processes, and engineering practices.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience with Java and Java EE, including Spring, Hibernate, Kafka, Docker, and OpenShift.
• Experience with relational databases, PL/SQL, Oracle, SQL queries, stored procedures, data modeling, and ORM persistence tools.
• Experience with application containers such as Apache Tomcat and cloud or container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes/OpenShift.
• Experience developing REST web services in Java and designing large-scale enterprise implementations.
• Familiarity with Git, JIRA, Confluence, Jenkins, Maven, and Gradle.
• Comfort working with Scrum and Agile methodologies; a BS/BA in Computer Science or related work experience is required.

Nice to have

• Angular 2+ and TypeScript experience.
• Node.js, npm, JavaScript frameworks, CSS, jQuery, Bootstrap, XML, JSON, and AJAX experience.
• Knowledge of Visual Basic macros, SAS code, ETL processes, or Qlik reporting.
