What you will do

  • Service, troubleshoot, test, and repair robotic platforms at subsystem, interface, and component levels.
  • Configure and operate electromechanical test equipment, functional test stations, hardware, software, and safety systems.
  • Install and verify software and firmware for robotic equipment, table control systems, audio files, and remote controllers.
  • Document test data, failure symptoms, repair findings, traceability, and nonconformances in defect management tools.
  • Investigate product failures and RMAs with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Complaint, and technical support teams.
  • Maintain repair depot inventory, tools, certified test equipment, quality records, and equipment uptime.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in the offered role or a related service repair technician position.
  • Experience configuring computer hardware and software and using Jira, MES, SharePoint, JAMA, Airtable, Agile PLM, and SAP.
  • Experience testing and repairing robotic surgical medical devices, including physician interface devices, consoles, tables, arms, towers, and tool drivers.
  • Experience with electrical, electronic, and mechanical component replacement, calibration, control swaps, and full operational testing.
  • Knowledge of GMP, GDP, medical device quality testing, product lifecycle management, Scrum, Kanban, and Lean methodologies.
