What you will do

• Provide CAD support to site design engineering and project controls teams.
• Assist civil, mechanical, and electrical engineers with design change disposition.
• Support procedure development, design change prioritization, and status tracking.
• Coordinate with onsite project controls, home-office engineering, and constructor organizations.
• Interface with field engineering, construction, procurement, quality, licensing, and regulatory groups to resolve technical issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, civil, or electrical engineering from an accredited institution.
• 0–4 years of experience in design, construction support, or field engineering, preferably on large-scale EPC projects.
• Experience with CAD programs, including SolidWorks and Autodesk; ability to learn Navisworks, Propeller, and SmartPlant.
• Ability to work onsite at a nuclear construction site and obtain and maintain required site access and security clearances.
• Ability to interface with construction, procurement, quality, licensing, and regulatory organizations while maintaining schedule and safety priorities.
• Strong communication and conflict-resolution skills; knowledge of nuclear design, licensing basis, configuration management, quality assurance, and applicable nuclear construction codes is desirable.
