What you will do

• Troubleshoot, maintain, repair, and install industrial electrical systems, equipment, wiring, controls, and related components.
• Diagnose electrical and control-system issues using schematics, test equipment, PLC diagnostics, and systematic troubleshooting.
• Support PLCs, control wiring, instrumentation, motors, remote equipment operation, and power-distribution systems.
• Work with 3-phase 480V systems and provide additional support for 4,160V and 13.8kV systems.
• Install conduit, pull wire, terminate components, and support construction, equipment installations, upgrades, and site projects.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance while partnering with maintenance, operations, and engineering teams to improve reliability.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent and at least four years of electrical experience in an industrial, mining, processing, heavy manufacturing, or similar environment.
• Strong industrial electrical troubleshooting experience across 120V, 208V, 480V, 4,160V, and 13.8kV equipment.
• Experience with controls, control wiring, PLC-related equipment, electrical schematics, prints, drawings, and diagrams.
• Ability to diagnose root causes independently and determine safe, effective corrective actions.
• Ability to use electrical test equipment, hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments.
• Must work on-site in Moab, Utah, follow NEC and MSHA requirements, use required PPE, and work safely in rough terrain, all weather conditions, and hazardous-material exposure environments.

Nice to have

• Journeyman Electrician license or willingness and ability to obtain one.
• Mining experience.
• Experience troubleshooting and maintaining industrial rectifier systems.
• MSHA certification or willingness to obtain it.
