Location: Ladson, South Carolina, United States; field service work in hospitals, service centers, depots, and customer accounts.

Salary: $46,400–$63,800 per year.

What you will do

  • Clean, disinfect, inspect, and prepare rental and customer-owned medical products for patient use.
  • Troubleshoot and repair electronic, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems and malfunctioning components.
  • Use appropriate tools to make adjustments and complete repairs under service contracts.
  • Provide on-call coverage, including weekends and holidays, and visit customer accounts as needed.
  • Load, unload, deliver, remove, and service medical products weighing up to 1,680 pounds.
  • Safely operate company vehicles ranging from cargo vans to box trucks up to 26,000 pounds.

Requirements

  • Must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available.
  • At least 21 years of age.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
  • Basic mathematical skills.
  • Ability to work in environments where biohazards may be present and follow required safety procedures and PPE requirements.

Nice to have

  • Technical or trade school training.
  • DOT physical card; assistance is provided.
  • Experience with FDA-regulated products.
  • Customer service experience.
